THE BEST MAN FOR THE JOB! ELECT GATEWOOD GALBRAITH, GOVERNOR / DEA RILEY, LT. GOVERNOR, IN 2011 FOR THE STATE OF KENTUCKY!
OUR VERY SURVIVAL DEPENDS UPON IT!
FRANKFORT (AP) – The United Mine Workers of America has endorsed Lexington attorney Gatewood Galbraith in next year’s gubernatorial race in Kentucky, a signal that Gov. Steve Beshear has lost favor with the labor union. Galbraith said Tuesday he is pleased to have gotten the endorsement. Beshear’s campaign political director had no immediate comment. UMWA regional vice president, Steve Earle, said the union takes its endorsements seriously and will work hard to get Galbraith elected in 2011. The UMWA, one of the state’s most respected labor unions, endorsed Beshear in 2007. Since then, Earle said the union has grown disenchanted with the governor. Copyright 2010 by The Associated Press.
